About NgDigest

The Angular tech watch that aggregates the best articles, tutorials and community news — automatically curated, every 12 hours.

Why NgDigest?

Keeping up with the Angular ecosystem means juggling dozens of blogs, newsletters, and community channels. NgDigest centralises that noise into a single, scored, bilingual feed — so you spend time reading, not searching.

How does it work?

Every 12 hours, NgDigest runs an automated aggregation pipeline across three sources: SerpAPI (Google Search + News), the dev.to public API, and curated RSS feeds. Each result is deduplicated by URL and run through a relevance scoring system before being stored.

Relevance scoring

Every resource receives a score from 0 to 6 based on three signals:

  • +3 pts — domain is in the curated whitelist (35 trusted sources)
  • +2 pts — title contains an Angular-related keyword
  • +1 pt — published within the last 7 days

Only resources scoring 3 or above are stored and surfaced.

Tech stack

  • Frontend — Angular 21 (Signals, standalone components), @ngx-translate, SCSS BEM
  • Backend — NestJS 11, MongoDB Atlas, Clean Architecture (DDD)
  • Aggregation — SerpAPI, dev.to API, RSS Parser
  • Deployment — Vercel (frontend) · Railway (API)
