Privacy policy
Introduction
NgDigest (ngdigest.co) is a personal Angular tech watch project. This policy describes the data collected during your visit, how it is used, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
NgDigest uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure website traffic. GA4 is only loaded after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no Google script is executed and no browsing data is collected. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage (key: cookie_consent).
Local storage (localStorage)
NgDigest uses your browser's localStorage to store your consent choice (key cookie_consent, value accepted or refused). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to any third party. It does not expire automatically and can be deleted at any time from your browser settings.
Data collected if GA4 consent is granted
If you accept GA4, Google Analytics collects anonymised browsing data: pages visited, session duration, device and browser type, country of origin (via IP address, anonymised by Google). No personally identifiable data is collected or stored by NgDigest.
Third-party services
NgDigest uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Vercel (frontend hosting) — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Railway (API hosting) — railway.app/legal/privacy
- MongoDB Atlas (database) — mongodb.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Google Analytics 4 (analytics, only if consent granted) — policies.google.com/privacy
